1. Who can register a .OM Domain?
The .OM domain can be registered under an Omani citizen's name or under a registered company in Oman.
2. How long can I register a domain name?
The maximum period you can register the domain is for 5 years, and the minimum period is 1 year.
3. What happens if I do not renew my domain?
If after completing 30 days of grace period from the domain's expiry date, if the domain is not renewed, the domain will be available for new registrations.
4. Can an individual register any domain extension?
Individuals can only register the domain extension ".OM".
5. What are the cases in which the domain ownership can be transferred.
As per article (32) of the domain name regulation, the registration of the domain name may not be transferred from one registrant to another except in the following circumstances:
In the execution of a judicial ruling or a decision issued by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) or other competent authorities.
